From 5 October 2026, Montford International College cannot issue new Confirmations of Enrolment for this course, enrol new overseas students in it, or commence overseas students who have not already started. This follows a legislative instrument made under section 96B of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000. Overseas students who have commenced before that date will continue and complete their course. Delivery to domestic students is not affected.

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply highly specialised knowledge and skills in the field of organisational learning and capability development. Individuals in these roles generate and evaluate complex ideas. They also initiate, design and execute major learning and development functions within an organisation. Typically, they would have full responsibility and accountability for the personal output and work of others.
This qualification may apply to leaders and managers in an organisation where learning is used to build organisational capability. The job roles that relate to this qualification may also include RTO Manager and RTO Director.

Entry Requirements +
To apply for the Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) at Montford International College, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Have completed Australian Year 12 or equivalent.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Complete an online application form.
- Have an IELTS Academic overall score of 6.0, or a PTE Academic overall score of 47 (for PTE tests taken on or after 07/08/2025). Test results must be no more than 2 years old.
English language competence can also be demonstrated through documented evidence of any of the following:
- The student has successfully completed a foundation course in Australia.
- The student has successfully completed at least 6 months of a Certificate IV level course at an Australian RTO.
- The student has been educated in an English-speaking country for at least 5 years.
- Successful completion of an LLND (Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital) test.
Applicants must also participate in activities to assess suitability for the course and student needs, as required.
Note: Other English language tests such as PTE and TOEFL may be accepted, provided the results are equivalent to an IELTS 6.0. Montford International College offers the VET English Placement Test for prospective international students from Assessment level 1 and 2 countries. The test evaluates intermediate-level writing, grammar and reading skills. These assessments are free of charge and must be taken prior to commencing your studies. Your authorised Montford International College Education Agent will oversee the testing process. Please be aware that test results cannot be used as official evidence of language proficiency.
Course-Specific Entry Requirements:
This qualification sits at AQF Level 8. Applicants are expected to bring the skills and knowledge needed to study at this level, including the ability to work independently, to analyse and evaluate complex information, and to manage a substantial body of self-directed study.
Preferred background: it is preferred that applicants have completed a Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Bachelor qualification in any discipline, and/or hold relevant vocational, supervisory or management experience. This is not a mandatory prerequisite.
Additionally, a pre-enrolment assessment will be conducted to evaluate the applicant's readiness for study at this level, together with their current skills, LLND abilities, vocational experience, course expectations, and any support needs.

After a student’s enrolment application is accepted, they will receive a Letter of Offer, a Written Agreement, and a Tax Invoice for any outstanding fees. It is important for students to carefully review all of the provided materials, as they contain essential details regarding the course.
Once the signed acceptance of the offer and the written agreement are returned, a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) letter will be issued.
The first day of each course will include an Orientation and Induction session. This will provide valuable information on topics such as the campus facilities, living in Australia, how to access available support services, and strategies for succeeding in the course, including maintaining satisfactory academic progress.
